The Coastal Resilience Center, which manages more than 15 research and education projects dedicated to protecting lives and property in U.S. coastal communities, has started a video series focusing on its work around the country. The series focuses on CRC work in four theme areas: Coastal Infrastructure Resilience; Building Resilient Communities; Coastal Hazards Modeling; and Education & Workforce Development.

The series, “CRC Impacts,” begins with a look at how researchers use city and regional planning techniques to ensure communities are prepared for natural hazard threats. See more at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtKcU_B2GU8.

Future videos will explore CRC’s role in educating the next generation of hazards practitioners, coastal storm modeling and community engagement to better prepare communities.
