The Coastal Resilience Center, which manages more than 15 research and education projects dedicated to protecting lives and property in U.S. coastal communities, has started a video series focusing on its work around the country. The series focuses on CRC work in four theme areas: Coastal Infrastructure Resilience; Building Resilient Communities; Coastal Hazards Modeling; and Education & Workforce Development.

The series, “CRC Impacts,” begins with a look at how researchers use city and regional planning techniques to ensure communities are prepared for natural hazard threats. See more at

Future videos will explore CRC’s role in educating the next generation of hazards practitioners, coastal storm modeling and community engagement to better prepare communities.
